Table Notes is a scorekeeping and statistics tool for friendly in-person card sessions. It does not offer betting, deposits, withdrawals, money transfers, or real-money settlement.
01Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Table Notes mobile app, related webpages, and supporting services. Please read and understand this policy before using Table Notes.
02Information we collect
Account and profile information
When you register and use the service, we process your login account, nickname, internal user identifier, and securely hashed password. A current password entered during account deletion is used only to verify account ownership and must not be stored in plaintext. The current version does not require your legal name.
Group and session records
To provide core features, we store group names, memberships, roles, invite codes, session times, user-entered venues, participants, virtual scores, results, statistics, and operation history.
Feedback and contact information
If you choose to send feedback, we process the feedback type and content, along with any email address, phone number, or other contact detail you voluntarily provide.
Device and technical information
To protect and troubleshoot the service, we may process device platform, app version, language, time zone, IP address, request path, access time, response status, latency, and error information.
03How we use information
- To create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and maintain sessions;
- To provide groups, memberships, session records, score summaries, statistics, and rankings;
- To maintain operation history and consistent shared records;
- To respond to feedback, account deletion, and other user requests;
- To prevent abuse, protect the service, diagnose errors, and improve reliability;
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your personal data to build third-party advertising profiles, and we do not sell your personal data.
05Retention and deletion
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service, protect its security, and meet legal obligations. Account information and related records remain stored while the account is active.
After your password and account status pass the automatic checks, account deletion takes effect immediately. We delete or de-identify your profile, contact details, password, feedback, sessions, and personal entitlements. Your active memberships are changed to left.
Shared session scores, rankings, and operation history remain in de-identified form to preserve records jointly used by other group members. Billing, security, or audit records required by law may remain for their required retention period. You must first transfer groups you own, transfer or settle sessions you currently host, and cancel active subscriptions.

06Data security
We use reasonable measures such as transport encryption, secure password hashing, access controls, session tokens, authorization checks, audit logs, and backups. No internet transmission or storage method is absolutely secure, so we continue to improve our safeguards and will respond to security incidents as required by law.
07Your rights
You can review and change your nickname, access your group and session records, leave a group, and contact us through in-app feedback. You may also request correction or deletion of related data, or deletion of your account.
Where a request affects records jointly created with other members, we may verify your identity and use deletion, anonymization, or restricted processing to protect the legitimate rights of others.
08Minors
Table Notes is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to minors. If we learn that we collected a minor's personal data without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
09Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when product features, data practices, or legal requirements change. We will provide prominent notice of material changes in the app or through another appropriate channel, and the latest update date will appear at the top of this page.
